Sam is an experienced accountant with expertise in personal, corporate, and estate tax planning. He graduated with honors from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and was awarded the Governor General Academic Medal for his outstanding academic achievements.
With a diverse professional background that includes commercial salmon trolling, Sam has proven to be a versatile and adaptable professional who can excel in any industry. Currently, as a Manager in the Personal Tax Pool at BCPIP, Sam is responsible for providing oversight and guidance to our team of tax specialists in the preparation and planning of tax services for individual clients. He is highly adept at ensuring compliance with complex tax laws and regulations, and is known for his exceptional ability to offer clients the highest level of support throughout the tax process. In addition to his work in personal, corporate, and estate tax planning, Sam has also cultivated a deep understanding of the not-for-profit sector. He has worked extensively with not-for-profit organizations, identifying financial inefficiencies and developing customized solutions to improve their operational effectiveness.
